Lauren Feldman, LDT-C has been educating and helping students achieve their full potential for more than a decade. Certified as a Special Education and General Education teacher, she has taught in resource rooms, inclusion classrooms, and general education classroom environment with a wide range of age groups. She led workshops for the district on effective writing and reading instruction and is a highly-sought after private tutor.
As an LDT-C, Lauren adminsters the test and analyzes the results to create comprehensive evaluation reports and individualized education plans. She specializes in providing both the assessment and the remediation strategies so that parents and teachers can understand the results, learn research-based remediation strategies, and help students capitalize on their strengths.
In addition to her practice, Lauren contracts with two county commissions to provide LDT-C services for private schools. She earned her Learning Disabilities Teaching Consultant post-masters certification from Kean University. She has her masters degree from Rutgers University in Reading and has dual certifications as a Reading Specialist and in Supervision.
